USA, 1920s. A small island off the coast of North Carolina is Roanoke Island.
He is known for his dark secrets. About 400 years ago, the first colony of settlers mysteriously disappeared here. Not a trace of an attack or an epidemic, even the dishes remained untouched. Only on the wall of one of the houses was the word "Croatoan" scrawled. So the Indians called some deity, but they refused to talk about it.
To this day, people are trying to solve the mystery of the missing colony. Today's lunar eclipse coincides with the alignment of the planets, this happens once every 100 years. In the past, it was during such eclipses that strange events occurred on the island. Maybe this time something will happen?
Roanoke is full of rumors and legends. They say that 100 years ago, the sorcerer Abe Pergamum lived in the old house of Pergamon, who kidnapped people and sacrificed them to the devil. One day he mysteriously disappeared, but his house is bypassed to this day. There are rumors that he is cursed.
The island is said to be run by a secret society, but no one really knows what it does.
They also say that Roanoke is a favorite haunt of smugglers and liquor dealers. But during Prohibition, the sale and transportation of alcohol is a crime for which you can get a subpoena.
There have been two murders on the island in the past year. Sheriff Stiles' brother died six months ago, and yesterday a local girl was found dead.
There is a psychiatric hospital on the island, where there are always a lot of patients. Suicides are also frequent here, especially among visitors. What is happening on the island? And is it possible to solve the mystery of Roanoke without losing your mind?
A ferry runs to the island from the mainland once a day. Today the ferry has already sailed and will be back only in the morning.
You have to experience the curse of the old sorcerer, uncover the secrets of a secret society and at the same time not get to the kind doctor in the psychiatric hospital of Roanoke!
